Joining Isos Partnership in late September 2023, Adam has deep knowledge and experience of the education sector, specifically the schools system.

As a former DfE civil servant, he led on the delivery of the academies and free schools programme in South London, the planning function for the London regional directorate and was the national lead for both pupil place planning and schools safeguarding. He also previously led on free schools policy development, specifically tilting the mainstream programme so that it better served disadvantaged communities and setting up the specific SEND free school delivery programme. As a former secondary school teacher (having qualified through the Teach First programme), he has first-hand experience of the classroom and this has taught him to be always person- and child-centred when developing or delivering education reform.

Adam is also skilled at supporting public sector organisations with their strategy development having worked as strategy consultant for one of the “big four”. He has a strong background working with education and training provider stakeholders through his experience working for the Department of International Trade supporting UK education providers to export their services overseas.

Outside of work, Adam is Chair of Governors of a primary school in South London, a keen runner, and the dad to a very energetic toddler.
