Caroline Star

Caroline’s career has focused on implementing programmes related to social purpose and intergenerational fairness.

 
 

Caroline combines senior policy experience with expertise in operations, service design and financial modelling to make innovations happen. She started as a strategy consultant at Boston Consulting Group then moved into the UK government to work in the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit. As a senior civil servant, Caroline’s responsibilities included setting up the first cross-Whitehall Child Poverty Unit, leading on child safeguarding and leading on adoption and family law.  She has led service design and operations at NCT, the UK’s largest parenting charity. As a freelance consultant, Caroline’s portfolio currently includes leading international operations for School of International Futures, global non-profit transforming futures for current and next generations.
